Charles Hilton Architects is a proud sponsor of the Greenwich Historical Society’s Landmark Preservation Program. The Greenwich Historical Society is an organization which “preserves the history of Greenwich, engages the public in an exploration of its rich cultural heritage, inspires a spirit of discovery through educational programs and encourages active participation in the preservation and interpretation of the town’s past.” During the past half century many of Greenwich’s older historic structures have disappeared. Begun in 1987 as the “Signs of the Times”, the Landmark Preservation Program has recognized and helped preserve over 280 structures through professional research, documentation of significant historic properties, their history and architectural features, and by creating awareness of these valuable architectural resources through education and presenting Landmark Plaques to property owners.

For more information about the Greenwich Historical Society visit www.hstg.org. Specific information about the about the Landmark Preservation Program can be found at www.hstg.org/pres_greenwichlandmarks.php.
